Lecturer – Beginning Knowledge & Teaching Practice

About the role

STADIO Higher Education is seeking a part‑time lecturer for the second semester of 2026 to teach in its Bachelor of Education (Foundation Phase) and Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) programmes. The role combines contact and distance‑learning delivery and supports student success through teaching, assessment and academic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and assess students in the modules “Beginning Knowledge”, “Service Learning” and “Teaching Practice Intermediate Phase 2”.
• Use the learning management system to create, upload and manage high‑quality module content.
• Contribute to curriculum design, review and the development of learning materials.
• Perform internal moderation duties to ensure academic integrity and compliance.
• Invigilate venue‑based examinations and adhere to examination policies.
• Participate in teaching‑practice assessments, providing constructive feedback to student teachers.
• Provide academic support and maintain prompt communication with students and staff.
• Carry out administrative tasks efficiently to support the School of Education.

Required profile

• Available to work on‑site at the Centurion Contact Learning Campus as required.
• Willing to undertake a part‑time fixed‑term appointment for the second semester of 2026.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Learning Management System (LMS) for content delivery and assessment.
