Student Advisor – Gauteng (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Student Advisor to join our team and support students throughout their academic journey. You will be the first point of contact, guiding learners from initial enquiry through to graduation, ensuring they receive the information and assistance they need to succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for prospective and current students.
• Guide students through application, enrolment, and registration processes.
• Provide accurate information on programmes, admissions, and student services.
• Support course selection, monitor academic progress, and advise on career pathways.
• Track student performance and proactively address any challenges.
• Handle enquiries via phone, email, and digital platforms professionally.
• Maintain accurate records using CRM/student management systems.
• Collaborate with academic and support teams to improve the student journey.
• Contribute to engagement and retention initiatives and suggest service improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Student Support or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in student support, academic advising, or customer service.
• Understanding of the student lifecycle, admissions, and retention strategies.
• Experience in higher education is advantageous.
• Professionalism, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or student management systems.
