About the role

A luxury lodge in Pongola, KwaZulu‑Natal is looking for an enthusiastic Kids Club Host to join its hospitality team. The role involves creating safe, educational, and nature‑based experiences for young guests staying at a Big 5 safari lodge. This is a live‑in position that requires flexibility, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily nature‑based, cultural and creative activities for children of various ages.
• Supervise children safely throughout the lodge grounds, including during safari outings.
• Ensure a high standard of child safety, hygiene and wellbeing at all times.
• Collaborate with lodge staff to align activity schedules with safari itineraries and guest preferences.
• Maintain clean and organized kids‑club spaces and equipment.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children (school, daycare, camp, au‑pair, or lodge kids club).
• Friendly, energetic and patient personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
• Comfortable living and working in a remote lodge environment.
• Clear criminal record and ability to pass background checks.
