Junior/Intermediate Inbound Reservations Consultant

About the role

African Diamond, part of Cullinan Holdings, is one of Southern Africa's leading travel companies specialising in the Turkish market, offering tailor-made packages for groups, meetings, events, incentive travel, conferences and special occasions. It is hiring a Junior/Intermediate Inbound Reservations Consultant in Cape Town to handle FIT and group bookings from initial enquiry through to final documentation and invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Handle FIT and group bookings from initial enquiry to final documentation and invoicing.
• Coordinate with suppliers such as accommodation, transport, guides, meet and greet and activities.
• Load bookings accurately and on time into the reservations system.
• Prepare and issue operational documents such as rooming lists, vouchers, itineraries and service confirmations.
• Monitor bookings for accuracy and completeness so that all services are correctly scheduled.
• Liaise with guides and suppliers to ensure smooth on-the-ground delivery.
• Handle amendments, reconfirmations and pre- and post-travel queries.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, deadlines and quality standards.
• Support the wider operations where required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in inbound travel, reservations or a similar role.
• Grade 12 qualification; a Tourism qualification is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of destinations, services and logistics in South and Southern Africa.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer and guest experiences.
