Inventory Clerk

About the role

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse, reconciling discrepancies and supporting the Physical Inventory (PI) program. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate stock records and continuous improvement of inventory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Control and coordinate the PI program, including daily checks of put‑aways, empty/part‑fill locations, reserve racks and pick faces.
• Monitor short picks and short ships, taking corrective action as needed.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise monthly stock counts and reconcile write‑offs across all designated locations.
• Investigate daily stock discrepancies, record adjustments, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct monthly client stock age reports and address any quality issues such as packing, expiry dates, or pack set‑up.
• Manage frozen/held stock according to client requests and established procedures.
• Set up and maintain pack data, item master information, and system storage locations to optimise placement and operational efficiency.
• Draft and adapt Stock Control procedures in line with company standards.

• Good organisational skills to plan and supervise inventory counts.
• Effective communication for reporting to clients and collaborating with internal teams.
