Human Resources Manager

About the role

Warm Nest Enterprise is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and people practices that support its mission to empower small‑scale farmers through agri‑tech solutions. This full‑time, hybrid position is based in Pretoria and offers a blend of on‑site collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and off‑boarding.
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures and compliance with South African labour legislation.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution and provide guidance to managers and staff.
• Support leadership with workforce planning, compensation, benefits administration and HR reporting.
• Facilitate training, development programmes and culture‑building initiatives.
• Oversee HR records, HRIS data integrity and generate relevant analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR practitioner, preferably in a fast‑growing or mission‑driven organisation.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Interest or experience in agriculture, agri‑tech or rural development is beneficial.
