HR Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead and manage the HR function across the business, providing strategic guidance to directors and taking full ownership of people, compliance and employee‑relations matters. This senior, hands‑on role requires an experienced professional who can work independently and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR support to management and employees across all locations, including disciplinary investigations and grievance handling.
• Coordinate recruitment, prepare employment contracts, and conduct induction and onboarding programmes.
• Deliver training on HR policies, conduct in‑person sessions, and manage SETA‑funded training programmes and compliance.
• Maintain employee records, ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, and update policies and procedures.
• Develop and monitor the Workplace Skills Plan, Annual Training Report and other skills‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR manager or senior HR professional, preferably in South Africa.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
• Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions and influence senior leadership.
• Excellent communication, investigative and conflict‑resolution skills.
