HR Consultant

About the role

Join TIH and support leading South African financial service providers as an HR Consultant. You will partner with line managers and employees to deliver HR guidance, ensure compliance, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to draft HR frameworks, tools and programmes that meet design principles, internal policies and legal requirements.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational models and provide sound HR advice, feedback and innovative solutions.
• Gather, analyse and interpret HR data, identify trends and present insights that drive employee engagement and business performance.
• Develop, implement and audit HR policies, ensuring compliance with Labour Relations Acts and organisational standards.
• Provide guidance on employee‑relations processes, investigate incidents and advise on complex queries.
• Deliver training sessions to build organisational capability and stay current with HR best practices.
• Maintain accurate HR data records and support personal capability development through continuous learning.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 / SAQA accredited equivalent (essential).
• Relevant HR qualification or ongoing HR studies.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, regulatory compliance and labour legislation.
• Ability to analyse data, produce reports and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
