Hospitality Systems Administrator

About the role

The Hospitality Systems Administrator will support and maintain the Oracle Opera PMS environment across the Village n Life portfolio, including Opera POS systems. Working closely with Reservations, Revenue, Finance, Food & Beverage and Front Office teams, you will ensure system accuracy, smooth integrations and effective user support for hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and configure Oracle Opera PMS across all properties.
• Set up and maintain rate codes, packages, room types, routing rules and user profiles.
• Manage PMS and POS system structures, including transaction codes and menu item linking.
• Perform weekly rate updates, package setup and annual rate configuration.
• Monitor integrations between Opera, channel managers, POS systems and revenue tools.
• Troubleshoot and escalate system and interface issues.
• Provide basic user support and respond to system queries from all departments.
• Ensure data accuracy and system integrity for PMS and POS.
• Support reporting needs for operational, finance and revenue teams.
• Assist with system upgrades, property onboarding and technical projects.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with hospitality property management systems.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Opera PMS (essential).
• Experience with Opera POS systems (advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
