Hotel Sales Executive

About the role

The Hotel Sales Executive will manage and grow an assigned portfolio of trade partners across Village n Life’s hotels and retreats. You will identify commercial opportunities, build strong relationships and convert them into measurable room revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with tour operators, travel agents and key trade partners.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and conduct sales calls, presentations and product training.
• Host site inspections, prepare proposals, negotiate rates and manage trade agreements.
• Represent Village n Life at trade shows, industry events and familiarisation trips.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, analyse revenue trends and collaborate with Marketing, Revenue, Reservations and Operations teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ sales or business development experience, preferably in hospitality or travel.
• Strong understanding of B2B, relationship‑led sales and ability to manage accounts, negotiate and close business.
• Good knowledge of the Cape Town and South African travel trade.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially minded, target‑driven and comfortable working with sales data.
• Valid driver’s licence and own roadworthy vehicle.
