About the role
This is a full-time on-site role based in Constantia for a Head Chef at Kleinsky’s. The Head Chef is responsible for ensuring the kitchen is run efficiently and professionally, achieving the highest standard of food quality and presentation at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain the highest standard of food quality and presentation.
- Maintain an efficient flow throughout shifts, ensuring staff adhere to standards and policies.
- Maintain high staff morale and discipline in the kitchen.
- Ensure personal hygiene and uniform standards are met at all times.
- Assist with rostering of kitchen staff in consultation with management.
Required profile
- Minimum two years experience as a Head Chef.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to run high‑volume service in a busy kitchen environment.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
