Health Consultant – Vitamins & Supplements (Flamwood, Klerksdorp)

About the role

Dis-Chem is seeking a Health Consultant to join its Flamwood store in Klerksdorp. The role focuses on promoting and selling vitamins, supplements and other Health Focus products while providing expert advice and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and advise customers, delivering expert product advice and excellent service.
• Maintain fully stocked and faced merchandise displays in the Health Focus area.
• Report price discrepancies and ensure compliance with store layouts and merchandising standards.
• Implement promotional displays, achieve monthly sales targets and support back‑shopping tasks.
• Follow departmental administrative processes such as stock control, returns and monitoring.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• At least 6 months of sales experience in a vitamins or health‑related environment.
• Strong command of English and basic numerical skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to work retail hours and perform physical duties.
• Advantageous: BSc in Biomedicine, Biotechnology or related field; additional retail or health‑industry experience; fluency in a second local language.
