Head Risk Officer

About the role

The organisation is seeking a visionary Head of Risk to lead its Risk Management function. Reporting to the CFO, the role will shape enterprise‑wide risk strategy, embed a strong risk culture and partner with senior leadership to safeguard sustainable business success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategy.
• Drive enterprise‑wide risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
• Lead governance, compliance and regulatory risk management.
• Oversee Business Continuity Management and organisational resilience.
• Manage insurance, claims and asset protection strategies.
• Present enterprise risk reports to Executive and Board Committees.
• Foster a strong organisational risk culture through leadership and capability development.
• Ensure alignment with corporate governance principles, legislation and industry best practice.

Required profile

• Strategic and commercially astute leader with exceptional analytical ability and executive presence.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills, sound judgement under pressure, and proven ability to influence Board‑level decision‑making.
• Recognised for integrity, ethical leadership, resilience and a commitment to continuous improvement.
