Group Human Resources Manager

About the role

Westvaal Motor Group, a motor dealership group with 40 dealerships across 6 provinces, is looking for a Group Human Resources Manager (Human Capital Leader) to join the group soon. The position reports to the CFO and is based in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

Key responsibilities

• Support workforce strategies and organisational development in line with the LRA, BCEA, BBBEE, Employment Equity and Skills Acts
• Manage HRIS platforms within compliance and auditing deadlines
• Act as legal gatekeeper for industrial relations processes and external obligations, especially with the Motor Industry Bargaining Council
• Ensure workforce planning, retention and succession align with the company's mission and vision
• Analyse data and report to directors and executives through group-level dashboards
• Serve on the Compensation Committee and establish a fair remuneration structure
• Audit and promote health and safety initiatives and drive gap analysis solutions
• Manage and grow the Accredited Westvaal Academy's cultural and transformational goals and other training interventions

Required profile

• NQF Level 8 qualification (honours degree, non-negotiable); Industrial Psychology experience is advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years' executive-level experience
• Excellent analytical, consultative and problem-solving skills, integrity and trustworthiness
• Excellent communication skills with proven business acumen

Required skills

• Extensive experience with Sage 300 People (a necessity)
