General Worker – Rest Camp

About the role
South African National Parks is seeking a General Worker for its Rest Camp at Augrabies Falls National Park. The role reports to the Duty Manager and involves a variety of hospitality and maintenance tasks to ensure a pleasant experience for visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain chalets, campsites, ablutions and public areas.
- Collect and dispose of refuse.
- Grounds maintenance, including clearing vegetation and pathways.
- Perform basic maintenance such as painting and minor repairs.
- Load and transport equipment, linen and supplies.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) or NCV Level 4 (or equivalent).
- 1–2 years practical experience as a general worker in tourism/hospitality.
- Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and shifts.
- Good communication and customer‑service skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Chainsaw operation.
- Brush cutter operation.
