Full-time Waiter / Barista (Winelands, South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Waiter/Barista to join the team at Lust Bistro & Bakery, a family‑friendly restaurant set on the Vrede en Lust wine estate in the South African winelands. The successful candidate will deliver friendly, efficient service to guests in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, take orders and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and bar drinks in line with the bistro’s standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables and bar stations.
• Handle payments and process transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in food and beverage service.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work quickly and reliably in a high‑energy setting.
• Excellent teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Residency in the winelands area of South Africa; transport is self‑provided.
