Financial Manager – Fourways

About the role

The Financial Manager will oversee all financial operations for a motor dealer located in Fourways. The role ensures compliance with OEM and company policies, manages cash flow, prepares management accounts and supports statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial control by ensuring departmental adherence to policies, meeting targets, completing monthly reconciliations and preparing management accounts.
• Manage daily cash flow, fund transfers, collections and optimise interest earnings.
• Oversee the dealer management system, generate daily reports, maintain data integrity and control user access.
• Train and motivate admin staff, coordinate salary adjustments with HR and ensure proper staff training.
• Control assets through regular vehicle stock checks, fixed‑asset recording and bi‑annual stock‑take procedures.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns including VAT, FIC, goAML and other regulatory filings within required timeframes.
• Produce monthly accounting packs, commission sheets, floorplan settlements, standard journals and monitor OEM account balances.
• Assist in budget preparation, quarterly reviews and present financial information to the Board.
• Liaise with auditors, provide year‑end financial packs and post final journal entries.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in financial management at a dealership level.
• Residence in Sunninghill, Fourways, Bryanston or Randburg area.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
