Financial Controller – Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller responsible for financial reporting within a fast‑growing fintech business. The role will prepare and deliver accurate quarterly financial reports to the listed parent company in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements, while ensuring the integrity of balance‑sheet reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly reporting packs and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Own the fixed‑asset register and manage inventory accounting and related reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Liaise with the Financial Manager to improve monthly reporting packs.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports on inventory and fixed assets.
• Handle queries related to fixed assets and inventory and introduce process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years experience in financial control and management.
• BCom degree in Finance (Honours/CA advantageous).
• Formal training in Accounting and VAT.
• Proven track record in managing financial teams.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (non‑negotiable).
• Knowledge of SAGE preferred.
