Financial Analyst

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its Core Diagnostics division. The analyst will play a key role in month‑end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and day‑to‑day finance activities, providing accurate financial information for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly forecast, reporting and annual budget processes.
• Partner with local and area finance teams to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Prepare profitability reporting and analysis at country, cluster and regional levels.
• Serve as finance business partner to internal stakeholders to drive sales, profitability and expense control.
• Assist commercial and support functions on margin‑improvement projects.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
• Coordinate monthly reports and forecasting for area submissions and deliver ad‑hoc performance reports.
• Automate and improve monthly financial reporting processes to meet key deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial trends.
• Effective communication skills to partner with cross‑functional teams.
