About the role
The Financial Administrative Officer – Acquisition Management supports procurement processes for goods and services within the Limpopo Provincial Administration, ensuring compliance with tax and preferential service provider requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Request and source quotations from Preferential Service Providers listed on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and verify tax compliance.
- Check requisitions for manager signatures, inclusion in the Procurement Plan, and budget availability.
- Compile comparative schedules and evaluation reports for bid committees.
- Prepare and administer bid documentation, ensuring alignment with SCM policies and standards.
- Distribute draft bid adverts, submit to e‑tender portals, and monitor bid validity periods.
- Provide secretariat services for bid committees, arrange meetings, manage logistics, and record minutes.
- Respond to queries during the bid administration phase and analyse submissions for SCM committees.
