Operational Support Manager – Distribution Cluster

About the role

The Operational Support Manager (OSM) leads a clustered Momentum Distribution Services (MDS) support administration team, ensuring operational implementation of distribution solutions that deliver excellent stakeholder experiences and meet sales targets. The role combines office management, team leadership and stakeholder partnership within the financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement distribution solutions and monitor effectiveness and efficiencies across the cluster.
• Lead and manage the MDS support administration team, fostering a culture of service excellence.
• Ensure smooth workflow, pipeline and activity processes, driving process improvements, digital transformation and cost optimisation.
• Oversee general facility operations, including office assistants and drivers.
• Manage adviser onboarding, off‑boarding and transfer processes accurately.
• Champion stakeholder relationships while partnering with sales teams to support business creation and projection.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or NQF 7 business‑related tertiary qualification.
• 5–8 years office management/general operations experience, preferably with IFA management.
• 3–5 years people‑management experience in a financial services environment.
• Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, regional IFA operations and investment products.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, business‑related rules and legislation.
