Financial Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper

About the role

A large multinational organisation is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to join its Centurion team. Key responsibilities

• Prepare flash and base reports, finalise month‑end processes and assist with payroll‑related financial tasks.
• Review, sign off and support bank reconciliations, maintain rental and fixed asset registers.
• Assist with stock takes, prepare stock variance sheets and complete GL reconciliations across the balance sheet.
• Process EFT payments, manage creditor payments and maintain the cashbook.
• Prepare and submit VAT and statutory returns, support budgets and forecasts, and compile year‑end audit packs.
• Provide financial support to General Managers and regional branches, and assist with internal audits.

Required profile

• BCom degree or equivalent financial qualification, or SAIPA/SAICA articles with relevant post‑article experience.
• Full‑function financial accounting or senior bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of stock and inventory.
• Proven experience completing the full accounting cycle, including month‑end, VAT, fixed assets, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to take ownership of financial processes.
