Audit Accountant (Fixed Term Contractor)

About the role

Korridor is hiring a fixed-term, project-based Audit Accountant in Centurion to manage and execute external audits of multinational legal entities. The role covers audit preparation, execution and follow-up, working closely with the business and Central Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review reconciliations and build audit files.
• Review annual financial statements and manage the audit process from planning to sign-off, including responding to audit queries.
• Work with the business and Central Finance to prepare for smoother audits of subsequent years, including internal control reviews and proactive accounting reviews.
• Ensure continuous compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Make sure auditors' housekeeping findings are addressed in their reports to management.

Required profile

• Audit articles completed.
• Two years of post-articles experience in an audit environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative under sustained pressure.

• Advanced MS Excel skills and numerical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle complex information and requests.
• Project management, organisation and administration, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Information integration and report writing.
