Financial Manager - Group Consolidation (CA(SA) or BCom Honours)

About the role

An established international group with over 60 years of experience and more than 26 branches across South Africa, Africa and Mauritius is looking for an experienced Financial Manager in Centurion. The role takes responsibility for the group's financial consolidations and leads an established finance team. It is initially a 12-month contract with the intention of becoming permanent; the current Financial Manager is acting as Financial Director and is expected to be promoted.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the financial consolidation of more than 26 branches
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Manage foreign exchange (forex) accounting requirements
• Lead a direct team of five finance professionals
• Oversee and coordinate with accountants across the various branches

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification, or a BCom Honours degree with completed articles
• Proven financial management experience
• Strong experience in group consolidations and intercompany accounting
• Sound understanding of foreign exchange transactions
• Ability to manage a finance team and coordinate financial reporting across multiple branches
