DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Manager to own the reliability, security, cost‑efficiency and continuous improvement of our cloud platforms. The role spans AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Ubuntu‑based workloads, and requires close collaboration with development, data and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of AWS services, including cost optimisation, security posture, monitoring, backup and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, ensuring reliable, repeatable deployments across dev, test and production environments.
• Administer Ubuntu servers – patching, performance monitoring, hardening and Bash‑script automation.
• Provide operational oversight for GCP AI and Big Data workloads, applying similar security, monitoring and cost‑management practices.
• Handle domain, DNS and SSL/TLS certificate management via GoDaddy.
• Continuously improve cloud security, incident response, documentation and automation across the multi‑cloud environment.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience managing production AWS environments, including Security Hub, IAM, networking and cost‑management tools.
• Proven Linux administration skills on Ubuntu and advanced Bash scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, GitHub and building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Practical experience operating workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to design, implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, backup and disaster‑recovery processes.
