Consultant Regional Coordinator – Iranti

About the role

The African Trans Network is seeking a Consultant Regional Coordinator to lead and oversee its regional programs, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission to advance trans rights across Africa. This remote, contract‑based position will manage strategy, partnerships, and program delivery for the network’s growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans and documents in line with ATN’s goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and manage regional programs and initiatives, ensuring effective delivery and target achievement.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community organisations to facilitate collaboration.
• Supervise, train and support staff or volunteers, monitor program progress, and evaluate outcomes.
• Prepare and manage budgets, produce regular activity and impact reports for leadership and funders.

Required profile

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience organising successful projects and programmes.
• Excellent written and public‑speaking communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Ability to work remotely, independently, and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Zoom for virtual meetings.
• Familiarity with WordPress content management.
• Competence with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
