Change Manager - PMO Commercial Operations SA

About the role

MTN SA is looking for a Change Manager to lead change management activities for the PMO Delivery Methodology covering projects and governance changes. The role supports PMO communication, drives the change of the Agile way of work, and coordinates project-driven change across the company, including launch management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead change management for the PMO Delivery Methodology and assess the impact of PMO changes
• Support PMO communication, including launch readiness and distribution of change communications to business stakeholders
• Facilitate the Agile way of work transformation, including forums, mentoring, coaching and knowledge management
• Coordinate project-driven change initiatives and launch management to reduce project failures and speed adoption of new products and services
• Conduct impact analyses, identify stakeholders and compile communication plans for approval
• Train and coach PMO and business resources on the delivery methodology, and review their proficiency
• Support the design and delivery of PMO training programmes
• Additional duties: complete change assessments, prepare risk mitigation tactics, consult and coach project teams, create deliverables for the five change levers, track issues and measure success

Required profile

• Minimum 3-year degree or diploma in Commerce or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 6 years' experience
• Essential: formal mentorship or coaching certification, programme management experience, and experience in transformational change projects
• Solid understanding of the change process and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
• Experience in Business analytics and Design thinking, and in project management approaches and tools
• Experience in a telecommunications environment is advantageous but not essential
