Code 10 Driver – Transport Boats in Strand

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Code 10 driver to transport boats in and around Strand, South Africa. The role involves operating a Code 10 vehicle with a trailer, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while representing the company professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Code 10 vehicles safely, including driving and reversing with a trailer.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload boats according to company standards.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness, and perform basic checks.
• Complete logbooks, trip sheets and delivery documentation accurately.
• Follow scheduled routes, delivery timelines and comply with traffic laws.
• Report accidents, traffic violations or any incidents immediately.
• Interact with clients and the public in a professional manner.

Required profile

• Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code 10, Code 14 or Code EB).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and every second Saturday.
• Physically fit to handle loading duties when required.
