Supply Planner

About the role

The company, a leading FMCG manufacturer, is looking for a Supply Planner to manage and optimise supply planning activities. The position is based in Cape Town and is advertised as a full‑time role. The planner will support the end‑to‑end supply chain, ensuring product availability while aligning with production and demand plans. The role reports to the Logistics Manager and works closely with the procurement and production departments.

Key responsibilities

• Support Integrated Business Planning processes to align supply and demand.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to maintain accurate supply plans.
• Monitor supply plan performance and report variances.
• Identify potential supply constraints and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the SAP APO system.
• Prepare regular supply planning reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Matric or degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience as a Supply Planner.
• Proven experience with Integrated Business Planning.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP APO.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments.
