Channel & Product Analyst, After Sales

About the role

Volkswagen Group Africa is hiring a Channel & Product Analyst to join its ONE. After Sales team, based in the One Aftersales Department in Sandton. The analyst develops and evaluates Genuine Parts campaigns and promotions, working with the After Sales Marketing Consultant and supporting dealer performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Genuine Parts campaigns and promotions, and work with the After Sales Marketing Consultant on marketing briefs.
• Coordinate dealer Genuine Parts incentive programmes and set, monitor and report on dealer performance targets.
• Run monthly analysis of HPG performance, prepare monthly performance reports and support the Field Force with dealer data.
• Develop and distribute dealer campaign bulletins and respond to dealer campaign and incentive queries.
• Conduct competitor and independent aftermarket pricing analysis and develop strategic product plans.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and market share, monitor parts performance and support initiatives that improve customer loyalty and profitability.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Data Management/Science, Commerce, Engineering or an IT-related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• At least 3 years' experience in a sales, aftersales or marketing environment; parts technical experience is desired.
• Good knowledge of dealer after-sales operations; understanding of branding and incentive management is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python and Google Analytics are desired.
• Program and project management experience is an advantage.
