Candidate Design Architect

About the role
EPA, a nationally award‑winning architectural practice, is seeking a Candidate Design Architect to join its Durban studio. You will work on a diverse portfolio that includes hospitality, commercial, workplace, residential and mixed‑use projects, contributing from concept through to design resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and detailed solutions that respond to context, client needs and project brief.
- Prepare and present high‑quality graphics, drawings and 3D visualisations.
- Collaborate with senior architects, engineers and consultants throughout the design process.
- Assist in coordinating design documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine solutions.
Required profile
- Master's or Honours degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of post‑graduate architectural experience.
- Strong analytical and conceptual design abilities.
- Clear communication skills and confidence in presenting ideas.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Revit (rated out of 10 in application).
