Candidate Architect – Data Centre

About the role

The Candidate Architect supports the architectural design team on data‑centre projects, developing and finalising specific design elements under the guidance of a Senior Architect.

Key responsibilities

• Produce architectural designs, BIM models and detailed drawings that meet design briefs and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate design activities across architecture and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications and construction details in line with industry standards.
• Conduct quality‑assurance checks and peer reviews to maintain consistency and professional standards.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to resolve design queries and support site coordination.
• Participate in design meetings, site visits and client presentations under senior supervision.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of post‑qualification experience as a Junior Architect.
• Master of Architecture (MArch) preferred.
• Registered with SACAP as a Candidate Architect.
