Bartender – Luxury Lodge (KwaZulu-Natal)

About the role

We are looking for a professional Bartender to join our luxury lodge in KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves creating memorable beverage experiences for guests in a high-end hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar area.
• Process guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and replenish bar stock, assist with inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle guest requests and resolve service issues professionally.
• Collaborate with the food and beverage team for seamless service.

Required profile

• Previous bartender experience in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and reliable, trustworthy attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic administrative tasks.
• Stock taking and inventory management.
