AutoCAD Technician – Water & Wastewater Projects

About the role

We are looking for an AutoCAD Technician to join our multidisciplinary design team and support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK and international locations. You will produce high‑quality 2D drawings and technical documentation for treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines and related civil assets.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain AutoCAD drawings, sections, details and schedules to project standards.
• Support ISO 19650‑compliant information delivery and manage drawing revisions.
• Coordinate drawings with civil, mechanical, electrical and process disciplines.
• Maintain drawings and data within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Assist engineers with drawing production, design development and project handover documentation.
• Implement design changes, resolve coordination issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience producing AutoCAD drawings for water or wastewater infrastructure (exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered).
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and CDE workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
