Technical Test Analyst

About the role

Sintrex is seeking a Technical Test Analyst to join a high‑pressure team delivering end‑to‑end IT solutions. The role requires ownership of testing activities, a self‑learning attitude and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical testing function, both manual and automated.
• Perform front‑end, back‑end and data‑validation testing of web‑based applications.
• Create, maintain and execute detailed test cases and test scripts.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage meets quality standards.
• Set up and manage testing environments, including OS, VM and software installations.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (mathematics preferred) with an ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in an IT testing environment.
• Strong self‑learning attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Automation tools: Playwright, Postman.
• Programming/scripting: Node, JavaScript.
• Technologies: Elastic Search, Linux, Jenkins.
• Testing concepts: test case design, test automation, OS/VM installation.
• Certifications: ISTQB Foundation (preferred ISTQB Advanced).
