Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Icebolethu Group is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and execute full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition strategies across the organisation. The role covers strategic talent sourcing, a positive candidate experience, employer branding, compliance with employment legislation and alignment of recruitment with workforce planning. It supports departmental hiring needs, builds talent pipelines and drives recruitment operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing candidates through job postings, social media, networking events and partnerships with educational institutions
• Reviewing resumes, screening candidates and coordinating interviews with hiring managers
• Developing and posting inclusive job descriptions and maintaining ongoing communication with candidates
• Collaborating with hiring managers on staffing needs and job specifications, and on candidate selection decisions
• Tracking recruitment metrics such as time to hire, quality of hire and funnel metrics
• Promoting employer branding and representing the organisation at recruitment events and job fairs
• Managing internal promotions and external recruitment across all levels
• Forecasting quarterly and annual hiring needs by department and conducting salary benchmarking
• Maintaining accurate recruitment reports, building relationships with past applicants and contributing to HR special projects

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications or a related field
• Two to three years' experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in-house
• Experience with recruitment marketing platforms, ATS, LinkedIn, social media, SAGE, e-recruitment systems and HRIS platforms
• Basic understanding of SEO for job postings
