Graduate Recruiter - Assurance and Consulting

About the role

PwC is looking for a Graduate Recruiter based in Johannesburg to oversee the entire recruitment process for graduate initiatives and student engagement across Assurance and Consulting. The role focuses on attracting and selecting top talent that aligns with PwC's values, and involves building relationships with candidates, stakeholders and universities.

Key responsibilities

• Screen, select and qualify candidates to produce a shortlist, and schedule and conduct interviews
• Negotiate salary packages and obtain the necessary internal approvals
• Set up assessments and manage assessment feedback sessions, and verify successful candidates before appointment
• Maintain regular contact with hiring managers and build relationships with target candidates and stakeholders
• Attend career days, school fairs and webinars to promote opportunities
• Plan and run student initiatives, including vacation work and scholar programmes, and maintain engagement with feeder universities
• Execute the bursary process for the Bursary portfolio
• Hold monthly business stakeholder meetings, give weekly portfolio updates, and gather data on pipeline statistics
• Travel to universities and schools to build pipeline strategies (up to 20% travel)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; a tertiary qualification in a relevant field is advantageous
• 2-4 years of experience in graduate recruitment or early talent roles
• Proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships and handling high volumes of graduate recruitment
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• Willingness to travel to universities and schools
