About the role

iMas Insurance Brokers, an authorized financial services provider offering financing and insurance solutions, invites applications for our Short Term Insurance (Non-Life) Learnership Programme. This opportunity is open to unemployed individuals from previously disadvantaged and designated groups who are eager to build a career in the insurance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct basic research and apply literacy and numeracy skills in insurance and risk assessment.
• Manage personal risk and understand financial risks.
• Apply legislative, ethical and compliance knowledge within the insurance environment.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting.
• Currently unemployed.
• Not registered for any other studies, learnership, internship or YES Programme.
• Available to start the learnership immediately.

What we offer

• Practical experience in telesales and/or customer service within a call‑centre environment.
• Structured theoretical training combined with on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring.
• A 12‑month fixed‑term contract with a monthly allowance of R6,000.
• Attain an Insurance Qualification (NQF Level 4) upon successful completion.
