Senior Driver Licence Examiner

About the role

The City of Ekurhuleni is seeking a Senior Examiner to manage driver’s licence testing and related administrative functions. The role ensures compliance with standards, handles public inquiries, and supports efficient service delivery at the testing station.

Key responsibilities

• Execute administrative tasks for all testing functions.
• Adhere to standards, policies and SOPs to minimise resource wastage and manage risk.
• Manage and oversee teams within defined processes.
• Administer financial processes and report deviations.
• Attend to public inquiries and complaints.
• Represent the testing station in NOSA to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage the eNaTIS booking system for learners, driver licences and PrDPs.
• Handle correspondence and reports in line with legislation.
• Ensure all VTS equipment is calibrated.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Examiner of Driver's Licence Diploma (EDL) and Vehicle Diploma (EOV).
• EC & A Driver's Licence, preferably with PrDP.
• Strong communication skills.
• Minimum two years’ experience as an examiner.
• No criminal record or illicit activity.
• Computer literacy with Natis/e-Natis systems.
