Senior Accountant (Remote – Cape Town)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic, fully remote team based in Cape Town. You will work with an international client portfolio, applying your accounting expertise to support growth and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review accounting engagements for a diverse international client base.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP standards (training on Dutch GAAP will be provided).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies while delivering high‑quality accounting services within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
• Qualified Accountant or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Strong experience in accounting and client engagement management.
• Previous leadership or team‑management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• IFRS standards.
• Dutch GAAP (training provided).
