Scale Weighbridge Technician – Bredasdorp

About the role

Our client in Bredasdorp is looking for a dedicated Scale Weighbridge Technician to join their engineering team. The role involves installing, maintaining and supporting weighing systems for various industrial sites, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and commission weighbridge equipment at client locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic components.
• Provide on‑site technical support and training to end‑users.
• Travel to multiple sites as required for installations and service calls.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on equipment performance.

Required profile

• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a scale technician or in a similar technical/maintenance role.
• Mechanically inclined with proven ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Willingness to relocate to or reside near Bredasdorp.
• Immediate availability and ability to work under pressure.
