About the role
Afrimat Eckraal Quarries in Rosslyn is offering a full‑time bursary for a Mechanical Engineering student. The role is designed for a second‑year student at an accredited South African higher education institute who wishes to gain practical experience in a fast‑paced mining environment. Successful candidates will work both independently and as part of a team while complying with Mine Health and Safety standards.
Required profile
- Completed Grade 12.
- Currently studying towards a Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- In the second year of study at an accredited South African institute of higher education.
- Maintains a good academic record.
- Resident of the Tshwane Municipality.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Capable of working independently and within a team.
- Medically fit according to the Mine Health and Safety Act and company standards.
