Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Representative to expand our customer base, build strong client relationships and drive revenue growth in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand the customer base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling and networking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Present and demonstrate products to potential clients, highlighting benefits and features.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Provide after‑sales support and promptly address customer inquiries and concerns.
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities and industry developments.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts and market analyses.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate (essential).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing or related field (advantageous).
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the stationery or related industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel with own reliable car.
