Regional Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Regional Human Resources Manager will report to the Head of HR Operations and support the Head Office and Life Health Solutions business units. The role is responsible for translating the Group HR strategy into regional actions that enable quality patient care and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Align the regional HR strategy with the overall Group HR strategy.
• Partner with regional and functional leaders to achieve business and HR objectives.
• Provide visible HR leadership, influence and credibility across the region.
• Implement HR best practices, including line‑manager delivery models and change management.
• Lead the Business HR delivery team, analysing trends and recommending risk‑mitigation solutions.
• Define resourcing needs, attract, retain and develop talent, and manage senior‑level recruitment.
• Oversee induction, onboarding and succession planning processes.
• Drive transformation initiatives, diversity promotion and Employment Equity/BBEEE compliance.
• Manage employee relations, communication structures, union engagement and IR support.
• Provide day‑to‑day ER/IR advice, handle CCMA matters and wage negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven HR leadership experience, preferably in a multi‑site or regional environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and change‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work with business partners and influence outcomes.
• Knowledge of employment equity, BBEEE legislation and compliance.
• Experience in talent acquisition, development, succession planning and employee relations.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.
