HR Personnel Administrator

About the role

A vacancy exists for an HR Personnel Administrator at Life Kingsbury Hospital, reporting to the Hospital HR Manager. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of the HR department by providing comprehensive administrative and support duties.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑ordinate and administer the full recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, collating interview packs and communicating with candidates and agencies.
• Maintain personnel files for all employees and ensure timely induction of new staff.
• Support internal training events by booking venues, preparing materials and arranging catering.
• Assist with HR projects, audits and corrective actions on non‑compliances.
• Provide general HR administration support, including absence management reports, bursary processes and payroll assistance when required.

Required profile

• Relevant HR qualification (NQF 7) – Degree, Advanced Diploma or B‑Tech.
• 2–3 years of HR administrative experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Good knowledge of South African labour legislation and general HR practices.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and time‑management abilities.
