Recruitment Consultant - Healthcare

About the role

Medical Resources Group, a specialist healthcare recruitment and staffing company, is expanding its team and is looking for a Recruitment Consultant. The role covers the full recruitment lifecycle in the healthcare sector, combining 360-degree recruitment delivery with business development to grow client relationships and deliver quality placements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process from job briefing to placement, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates
• Coordinate interviews, offers and placement confirmations, and conduct reference checks and basic compliance verification
• Maintain accurate records on internal systems and the ATS
• Develop new business, manage and grow existing client relationships, and carry out recruitment needs assessments
• Present recruitment solutions aligned to client requirements and ensure recruitment documentation is complete and accurate
• Communicate professionally with candidates and clients and comply with POPIA and internal data protection standards

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12)
• At least 2 years' experience as a Recruitment Consultant in an agency environment
• Proven business development and client acquisition experience
• Valid driver's licence
• Advantageous: degree or diploma in HR, Business or a related field; previous healthcare recruitment experience; proven placements of doctors, nurses or allied healthcare professionals; understanding of healthcare compliance and credentialing

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail, organisation, time management and prioritisation
• Sales, negotiation and client relationship management
