QA Tester

About the role

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive QA Tester to join their growing technology team. In this role you will ensure the quality, reliability and performance of the company’s software products and business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks and pipelines.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to validate functionality, usability and performance.
• Identify, document, prioritise and track defects using established bug‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected after enhancements, fixes or deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, quality and risk.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential system vulnerabilities.
• Monitor testing outcomes and provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, processes and quality‑assurance practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a QA Tester, Software Tester or similar quality‑assurance role.
• Strong experience creating and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Hands‑on experience with functional testing (including UI/UX validation), non‑functional testing, regression and exploratory testing.
• Experience managing defects using tools such as JIRA or Sentry.
• Proficiency with Git and Git branching strategies and solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
