Project Management Intern – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for a Project Management Intern to support the delivery of technology‑enabled projects in Cape Town. This is a learning‑focused position where you will gain hands‑on experience in coordinating tasks, tracking data and preparing reports while contributing to real project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist day‑to‑day project coordination, keeping plans, actions and timelines on track.
• Maintain project plans, trackers and dashboards using Excel and Monday.com.
• Collect, consolidate and perform basic interpretation of project and operational data for reporting.
• Prepare status updates, reports and meeting materials for project teams and stakeholders.
• Capture meeting actions, risks, issues and dependencies and follow up with owners.
• Log and track requests, issues or queries in Monday.com and Freshdesk.
• Organise meetings, including scheduling, agendas, minutes and action tracking.
• Support the project manager and team leads with general administration across multiple initiatives.
• Contribute ideas for improving project processes, templates and ways of working.

Required profile

• Currently studying or completing a qualification in Project Management or a related field.
• Genuine interest in project management, technology, data and reporting.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, digital tools and data trackers.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with guidance.
