Shopify Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Shopify Implementation Specialist will design, configure, and launch high‑performing e‑commerce stores on the Shopify platform. You will translate business requirements into functional storefronts, integrate third‑party solutions, and ensure a seamless user experience for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Shopify stores, from initial setup to live launch.
• Configure and customize themes to align with brand guidelines and UX standards.
• Build and manage product catalogs, including variants, collections, and tagging.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping solutions, marketing tools, and other third‑party apps.
• Optimize store performance, mobile responsiveness, SEO, page speed, accessibility, and security.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, logistics, and IT teams to gather assets and content.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide training documentation for internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, E‑commerce, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
• Strong understanding of e‑commerce UX/UI best practices and digital marketing fundamentals.
• Detail‑oriented with solid project management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Shopify theme customization using HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Shopify APIs, app integrations, and third‑party services.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Shopify Analytics.
• Knowledge of marketing tools like Klaviyo, Meta Pixel, and Google Tag Manager.
