Production Manager - Plastic Industry

About the role

The Production Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for meeting production targets, guaranteeing continuity and product quality, and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and support the production team, manage priorities and promote staff development.
• Plan the production program efficiently, coordinating resources with Logistics and Technical Managers.
• Execute the production schedule, maintain line efficiency through routine maintenance and quality protocols.
• Schedule technical interventions such as colour/mold changes and machinery maintenance.
• Monitor statistical production data (yield variance, waste, cycle time, energy consumption, productivity) for continuous improvement.
• Participate in industrialisation of new products, troubleshoot quality issues and ensure a safe work environment.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, injection molding).
• Excellent applied knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain processes.
• Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent command of English.
